Overall Position Summary and Objectives:    Under this task order, the contractor will independently provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the National Institute of Mental Health. The primary objective is to provide services and deliverables through performance of support services.   - Full-time, up to 40 hours/week, with no set schedule. - Elegible for teleworking some days  - Benefits include: 80 hours vacation, 11 government holidays, healthcare benefits, dental, vision, 401K, etc.  - To discuss pay, please apply as it is based on years of experience. The recruiter will contact you as soon as possible.    Statement of Work Details:  - Operates MRI scanners following the guidelines from research protocols. - Triage screening of healthy volunteers (HCs)/patients for contraindications related to fMRI and MEG scanning. - Participates with staff in collecting and analyzing MRI data by measuring and quantifying MRI images of various structures. - Coordinating/maintaining intraoperative reports for implants. Maintain documentation for audits - Manages data from the collection phase through transfer and analysis, ensuring accuracy of data storage and efficiency of data transfer, backup and statistical analysis. - Primary point of contact for HCs for screening, development protocol scanning. Scheduling of fMRI and MEG tasks - Participates in writing research reports, notes and protocols incorporating details of experimental methodology and statistical approaches. - Handle consents, clinical scans, coordinating OP4, coordinating payments, scan documentation, recording-keeping, etc. - Recommends new ideas and directions of study for future research in the laboratory. - Primarily liaison between clinical and neuroimaging points of contact for protocols. Attend research meetings and ensure that imaging is scheduled in a timely fashion - Independently initiates collecting and analyzing MRI data by measuring and quantifying MRI images of various structures. - Point of contact for protocol coordinators when scheduling neuroimaging to ensure scans are scheduled during scheduled ETPB scan time . Coordinate with IRTAs to ensure scan coverage - Manages data from the collection phase through transfer and extensive analysis, ensuring accuracy of data storage and efficiency of data transfer, backup and statistical analysis. - Ensure that data is transferred by primary IRTAs - Develops and coordinates the training program for staff in MRI measurement techniques. - Ensure that data is organized/structured appropriately . Maintain database/CRIS documentation - Tracks the quality of data from research protocols. - Provide back-up assistance with scans when needed, to include familiarity with ETPB-specific scan requirements 1 - Familiarity with secondary equipment important for scanning (stim computer, EEG computer/peripherals, extraneous equipment necessary for scan protocols) 2 - Trains all trainees/staff on protocol-specific experimental task administration

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases is looking to hire a Certified Nursing Assistant that has 13 years of CNA experiene, a high school diploma, and superior customer service skills.    The position is hourly with payrate starting at $26.00/ hour, and is full-time (40 hours/week).   Benefits include 80 hours of vacation/year, 11 government holidays, healthcare, dental, vision, 401K, etc.     Statement of Work Details - Participates in the development of diagnostic interviews with the principal investigator. - Attend staff meetings to go over clinical ratings and procedures. - Consult with principal investigator, physician and nursing staff regarding tests results, unusual patient behavior, etc. - Participate in weekly conference sessions where participants’ data are evaluated to determine participants’ status. - Administers diagnostic interviews and prepares summaries in support of research protocols. - Fill out diagnostic paperwork after completing each interview and prepare written and computerized summaries of clinical interviews. - Coordinates adult relative and child participant recruitment. - Attend provider meetings and recruitment events to present study information and distribute recruitment materials i.e. mental health fairs. - Prepares patients for examinations and assists staff with specialized procedures and diagnostic exams. - Work with researchers and medical staff on transport of patients, specimens, equipment and supplies, generating numeric tracking labels for samples prior to submission. - Perform basic procedures, such as collecting and processing specimens, performing venipuncture, obtaining EKGs, performing IV insertion and checking vital signs. - Observe and ensure the safety of human subjects while procedures are being performed and bring all patient concerns and issues to researchers or medical staff. - Collect specimens from study participants (including but not limited to blood draws of HIV Infected Blood and urine specimens) for management and transportation preparation per coordinating protocol. - Assist physicians during examinations and procedures and answer patient calls for help. - Assists patients and reinforces instructions regarding self management. - Assist patients and research participants with activities of daily living as needed - Reinforce policies and procedures to research participants as directed by researchers or medical staff to ensure procedural effectiveness. - Assist research participants or other health care team members with prescribed interventions as directed by research or medical staff. - Provide patients clear documentation and directions for continuity of self-managed portions of treatment and follow on activities or testing per the research protocol and medical procedures. - Other - Organize research information for clinical projects as per investigator request. - Monitor stock to ensure it is being utilized within the proper time limitations. - Replenish medical supplies for phlebotomy area and exam room and ensure expired supplies are disposed of properly. - Promptly identify, remove, report and dispose of outdated and/or contaminated suppliesto NIH, to JCHCO and Environmental Audits. - Coordinate the follow-up to stipulation requests to ensure Good Clinical practices (GCP) Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) according to Federal regulations; reinforce researchparticipant’s instructions in the proper technique of various selfadministered treatmentsand documents the activities performed. - Perform data entry in electronic databases. - Utilize automated equipment and devices safely. - Reinforce policies and procedures to research participants in conjunction with the clinicalnurse teaching. - Participate in Protocol Training Sessions. - Perform reminder phone calls to study volunteers. - Perform clerical duties (answer phone, copy medical records, file medical records) as assigned to meet the needs of the research participants. - Perform telephone reminder calls to clinic volunteers. - Perform apheresis scheduling. - Provide one in-service per year. - Participate in clinic meetings. - Check and respond to emails in a timely manner - Give insights and recommendations to improve clinic performance. - Perform phlebotomy and other procedures after completion of certification and/or training and competency validation completed. - Collect specimens from study participants including blood draws of HIV Infected Blood and urine specimens) for management and transportation preparation per coordinating protocol; Hours of Performance The providers shall be able to provide services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays. Shifts will be 12 hours in length. No guarantee can be made that the shift will end as scheduled. A minimum break of 30 minutes will be given during the shift if patient care permits. Work hours and days will be determined by GLWACH and confirmed by the contractor. A schedule discussed between a contract physician and ER staff is not considered valid. Schedules are subject to change due to cancellations, hospital staff changes, organization day, emergencies, exodus, training holidays and unexpected events. The most a provider can work is six consecutive days in a row and then a minimum of a one day break is required.   Pay: $200/hr base, $210/hr for night shfits, and $230/hr for 13 or more shifts a month.
