Overview

Schedule:0730-1630 Monday through Friday with an allotted hour for lunch. Work hours may be modified by the SGH to correspond to the needs of the department, not to exceed 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.

Pay rate: $120k/year - $140K/year

Responsibilities

• Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges.
• Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate.

• Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.
• Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries.
• Assist in rehabilitation of patients. The Clinical Psychologist; Clinical Social Worker are labor categories designated mission essential for the Performance of Services during Crisis, in support of the 15 MDG Clinic located at 755 Scott Circle, Building 559, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Hawaii, that requires continued performance of services during any crisis declared by the National Command Authority or Overseas Combatant Commander, and deemed as “vital to mission continuance” and essential for continued quality service during any crisis. Schedule and hours of operation for the aforementioned positions will be maintained as normal.

Qualifications

Degree: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
Education: Graduate from an American Psychology Association accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
Internship/Residency: Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association.
Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions. Each HCW requesting clinical privileges shall be required to demonstrate clinical competency within the past two years in the required clinical discipline as specified in this PWS
Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands.
