Chiropractor Technician

Location: Maxwell AFB - 42nd Medical Group

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week.

Pay: Between $18/hr - $26/hr + Health & Wellness $4.57*/hr worked (in lieu of benefits)

*Position is contingent upon contract award.

• The Chiropractor Technician will prepare treatment areas for incoming patients.
• Administer complex, specialized supportive physiotherapy treatment in areas such as ultrasound, electrotherapy, and therapeutic hot/cold and therapeutic exercise in support of chiropractic treatments in the clinic in a safe and medically accepted manner as directed by the supervisor.
• Instruct and supervise patient exercise programs.
• Report unusual patient treatment response or hazardous or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor immediately.
• The Chiropractor Technician will document patient history, reported subjective symptoms, care interventions provided, response to interventions, observations, and patient education in the electronic health record.
• Perform clerical duties, such as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering telephones, taking messages, filling out forms, scheduling patients, and staffing the reception area.
• Maintain department records and files and perform coding of patient encounters and workload in accordance with facility policies.

• Shall read, understand, speak, and write English fluently.
  
• A high school diploma is required. Contractor shall provide a copy upon request of the government.
  
• A minimum of one (1) year within the past three (3) years of experience in medical administration, front desk duties.
